A bend in the Salmon River at Port of the Islands North
  • RV Sites - located along river, 299 extra wide, fully paved, all hookups including CATV and phone. Many Pull Thrus. Most sites with 50 amp service, some with 100 amp! VIP sites up to 70' long with concrete pads and patios!
  • Tent Camping - close to the river, 40 tent sites each approx. 40'x40'. 10 with electricity, all with common water. Two large group tent sites each with private water, electricity, and propane cooktop under ˝ pavilion style roof!
  • Rental Cozy Cabins - nestled in the woods, 20 13'x15' cabins with enclosed and screened, 7' porch. (5) Have ˝ bath. All have heat and electricity. (5) Additional deluxe models have full bath, kitchenette, and private bedrooms. Handicap accessibility available on both models.
  • Modern, state of the art bathrooms and shower facilities
  • Large administration building with fully stocked camp store, computerized check-in, and quiet area with deck and fireplace
  • Community Recreation Building with meeting rooms, rec. area, pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi
  • All recreation amenities including playgrounds, playing fields, basketball and tennis
  • Dayuse picnic area with tables, grills and access to river
  • Cartop boat launch and the rivers only handicap accessible riverfront fishing platform
  • 10,000 feet of private river shoreline surrounded by over 60 acres of our own nature preserve complete with trails and gazebos

Directions
From the North - I-81 South to Pulaski, Exit 36. Turn left (east) at end of ramp on County Route 2. Cross over the freeway and take the very first right, on County Route 2a (signs for I-81 South). Two miles south on 2a to State Route 13. Turn left (east) onto 13. Go 2.2 miles and turn left into our driveway on the north side of the road.

From the East - From NYC: State Rt. 17 west to I-81, then north to Syracuse, and follow ‘directions from the South'. From Albany: NY State Throughway (I-90) to Syracuse, north on I-81 and follow ‘directions from the South'. For a more scenic route, get off the Throughway in Utica, take State Rt 69 north to Camden, then State Rt. 13 north to 3+ miles past Altmar. We'll be on your right.

From the South - I-81 North from Syracuse to Pulaski, Exit 36. Turn right (east) at end of ramp on State Route 13. Go 3 and 1/4 miles and turn left into our driveway on the north side of 13.
